In Ostia, the ancient port city of Rome, St. Augustine and his mother, St. Monica, experienced a shared vision of “That Which Is”, i.e., union with God, or beatitude.
As a member of the Ostia Society, you and your Ostia Chapter School “share a vision” of that which should be – a true Christian education of our youth in the True, the Good and the Beautiful, an education ordered toward the beatitude that Augustine and Monica saw, and now enjoy.
